I am currently studying for an MSc in Occupational Health and Safety Management and am writing my thesis on enforcement action following workplace fatalities.
As part of the research I am carrying out a survey of opinions among H&S professionals regarding enforcement action.
If anyone is able to help with completing a questionairre (only 8 yes/no questions - done on-line) please e-mail me at eric.burt@cheshire.gov.uk Respondents may remain anonymous and all replies will be treated in the strictest confidence. A copy of the final thesis will also be available to those who reply.
As an incentive I will be putting all the respondents names in a hat and the winner will receive a £25.00 voucher.

Many thanks to all who have replied so far - the response has been fantastic.
A number of colleagues have asked about the MSc. I'm doing it via Loughborough University distance learning. It involves an initial one day attendance then a 12 000 word thesis. At the end of this (if you pass) you then have to attend 2 x 2-day sessions plus a 1-day session whilst doing a 20 000 word thesis.
the cost is roughly £3 300 plus expenses.
If any colleagues have a few minutes to spare to complete the survey I would appreciate any help (takes about 5 minutes to complete).

P.S. There is no truth in the rumour that the first prize is a Jeremy Clarkson video and the second prize is a (very low) hanging basket.
