Posted By Martin Hartland Paul BS 1710 gives the requirements for colour coding or banding & signing of pipework, eg water = green, gas = yellow, air = blue. As usual it’s not as simple as that, so you’ll need to get hold of a copy to understand what you need to do. Hope this helps Martin

Posted By IanD Don't forget the Safety Signs and Signals Regulations, which require hazardous pipelines to be marked with labels stating the content of the pipeline printed on the appropriate background colour, and the direction of flow through the pipelines etc
