Posted By Debbie S I am in the process of sending out letters to all our night workers to offer then free health assessments (in accordance with the Working time Directive). I have a company locally who can do the paper questionnaire followed by a medical examination (if thought to be necessary). The problem is more a logistical one. We have 7 depots across the country from Glos to Falkirk to Norfolk. I am looking to see if anyone knows of a national company to provide this service as I know that the night workers from the other depots would not come across to the head office area if they required a medical examination (even though petrol costs would be re-imburssed). Any suggestions welcome.

Posted By Jon Pegg Hi, I note that you appear to use outside organisations to prepare the health questionnaire as well. The DTI publish a sample questionnaire that only needs "tweaking" to fit the circumstances locally. A MIOSH should be in a position to prepare such a questionnaire. Has anyone actually done the questionnaire themselves. (NB I am not talking about a medical examination which must be done by a doctor or nurse) Please let me know Thanks Jon
