All.
I require assistance in identifying regulations that either in the main instrument or the ACOP prescribe methodologies and/or factors to take into account in specific assessments e.g. DSE Regs and MHO Regs. I am in the process of constructing an exhaustive list.

Rakesh,
Have you not already answered your own question? A prescribed method for a Risk Assessment is:
AIDIM
Example: DSE. A 4 ft 2 inch person would require a separate assessment to that of a 2 ft 4 inch person for compliance with a DSE Risk Assessment.
Just take into consideration that one of them is an extremely small person where as the other one is about 3 1/2 years old and should be at playschool anyway.
generic assessments are fine but you will always require something more specific for the individual.
Perhaps it's me, but I feel you will struggle to find prescriptive factors for specific Regulations. Risk Assessments need to be specific to individuals, the task, the environment & the equipment used.
Assess the task & identify the hazards (physical/Chemical/Biological)
Identify the persons at risk i.e. type of person (height, age etc.)
Determine existing control measures & define safe methods relevant to the individual, the task, the environment & the equipment used etc. i.e. Technical/engineering-Procedural-Behavioral methods
bla-de-bla bla

Thanks for both your input. The HSE publication recommended by Adrian was exactly what I was looking for.

Rakesh,
In carrying out a risk assessment, remember to include all the ITEMS that should to be considered. You should consider the following ITEMS:
INDIVIDUAL (WHO & CAPABILITIES)
TASK (WHAT & HOW; FREQUENCY & DURATION; HAZARDS & RISKS)
ENVIRONMENT (TIME; PLACE; PHYSICAL & PSYCHOSOCIAL)
MANAGEMENT (LINE & SUPERVISORY)
SYSTEMS (HARDWARE, POLICIES & PROCEDURES)
