Terms and Conditions - Help to avoid pitfalls

Hi there. New girl on the block here!
Just starting out on my own and have just read Lord Lucan's experiences dated 25 Sept - horror!
I was browsing to see if there was any advice available for drafting my own terms and conditions prior to taking to a lawyer for checking over.
Most of my initial work will be based around health and safety audits of commercial properties held by large insurance companies/pension funds through a respected property managing agent.
Can anyone point me in the right direction ? Any advice much appreciated.
Regards
Alex

Hi Alex
hopefully others working in your particuilar area can help with some of the specific pitfalls, but if you're looking for some good overall advice on T&C as a new business, your local Business Link provide a wide range of Business Information Fact Sheets for new business free of charge. Number 16 is 'A guide to Drawing Up Terms & Conditions of Sale' and if you ask for a complete listing of the sheets you may well find others that are also useful. I certainly did. Hope this helps.
