Posted By pnm999 Hi all, I need a little help. After a couple of discussions with the site engineer it has been decided to try to re-vitalise Health and Safety awareness within the whole of the maintenance dept. What I need is some new ideas, I already have some which include a new notice board to include, Near Miss to incident ratio and posters etc, but I really need something more. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks Paul

Posted By Dave Wilson Get the maintenance manager and the teams involved, posters great, positive reinforcement from the man (not you) is even better. It would appear that he is willing as you said.

Posted By Alan Barthrope I would suggest the best thing is to have lots of safety awareness training, Tool-Box talks etc that get the workers involved. Try to get them on board with health and safety and work on the safety culture aspect. Good luck.
