Only one of them is a post-nomial - CMIOSH

The other is the formal designatory title that we are entitled to use

Hi BOb,

Which one do you prefer to put in your business card? In my personal point of view that I like the formal designatory letter "Chartered Safety & Health Practitioner" as easier to understand for outsider.

Regards,

Samson

Put both

CMIOSH after your name and Chartered Safety and Health Practitioner underneath in a slightly smaller font or italics.

Happy days are coming

Excuse my ignorance…. but will you be allowed to use "Chartered Safety & Health Practitioner" I thought the wording was to be "Chartered Member of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health"

I would be grateful for any clarification.

Ian,

I prefer to use the formal title "Chartered Safety and Health Practitioner" rather than "Chartered Member of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health". Alternatively may consider to use CMIOSH.

Ian,

Physiotherapists are Members of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists, but are personally Chartered Physiotherpists. Likewise, we will be Chartered Members of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health but will style ourselves Chartered Safety and Health Practitioners. Physios use CSP on their letterheads, we will use CMIOSH,

You’ll also be able to use the formal title Chartered Safety and Health Practitioner

My my aren't we cosy in our happy little chartered world. Jeremy Clarkson will have to take us seriously now.
Let's hope NEBOSH keep those standards up.

I still like the idea of being a "CRiSPy"

Better than a wrinkley.
