Does such a thing as a good "trainer the trainer" course exist for this difficult topic..
If it does I love to know ...because I need one ASAP

PS I know about the ROSPA course ..any feedback on this one would be appreciated, thanks for reading.

From memory, I recall that the IOSH Train the Trainer's programme includes a workshop on M H.

Failing that, try firms listed on the Consultancy Register of The Ergonomics Society (www.ergonomics.org.uk) who specialise in S & H

We used a consultant who worked with us to design a course around our company needs (we are a multi site builders merchants. He gives 2 days of mixed theory and practical training (assisted by myself) and then "Trainers" are able go to train back at their individual branches. He has also worked with us in the development of our Banksman train the trainer course. Please contact me if you would like some details.

Please note I have no connection to his company other than the work he has done for us.

I recently attended a Manual Handling 'Train the Trainer' course run by Integra Training and Consultancy at Sunderland (0191 515 2666). It was a 3 day course and the gentleman who taught the course (Frank Wareham) was very informative and gave me the confidence to go out and present Manual Handling training.

Good Luck
