Galor gas, jubilee clipped or crimped hoses?

Dear all,
Please can someone advise me whether it is perfectly acceptable to fit a hose from a calor gas bottle to a torch gun using jubilee clips or should the hose be crimped on. Camping gear is usually jubilee clipped but I am not sure whether this is acceptable in a industrial setting.
Many thanks
Paul

Crimped is the manufacturers position so do a clip at your own behest.

LPGA are afraid that the unqualified will use a screwdriver on a jubilee clip to create joints that are not tested for gas tightness by a qualified person so they recommend crimped. I think the BCGA agree.

Definatly crimped with the proper connector. Jubilee clamps do not allow the hose to move freely causing a weak point at the joint. It also cuts into the hose. A propritry clip will allow such movement at the joint. The correct crimping tool should be used to ensure that it is not over compressed. HSE would issue an improvement/prohibition notice on this.
