Posted By Sean Fraser I would have thought the principle would be - if in doubt, do it anyway. As an example, we (volunteer First Responders associated with the Scottish Ambulance Service) have our own vehicle, supplied by SAS. Since we will be carrying oxygen for emergency medical purposes, we are required to have the compressed gas cylinder symbol in the back window, even though it is only one small portable cylinder. The thought goes that because it will always be with the vehicle on a shout, the sign can be permanently applied. Probably doesn't help you in your own circumstance but does give an example of thinking on the subject.
