Posted By Scott d Hi All, The Advisory Committee For Work at Height Training were planning on producing guidance on this subject in mid 2005. Does anyone know if this was done and where I can find this information if it has. I am in the middle of designing such a programme and have all the current guidance to do so, however, if this document has been produced it would be helpful to have a read of it. Many Thanks, Scott

Posted By David AB Thomas BS 8454 (Draft), 'Code of practice for the delivery of work at height training and education', should be available from BSI as a 'Draft for Public Consulation' very shortly. It's also hoped that a draft of the ACWAHT 'Core Syllabus', aimed at meeting the basic competence requirement of the Work at Height Regulations 2005, will be available by the end of the year.

Posted By Derek Holt Will training establishments/providers be assessed/accredited against the standard BS 8454. Would suggest that they be able to gain some form of certification/registration to the standard to help distinguish the reputable from the not so reputable training providers. What do you think?
