Winter has arrived.
Last weekend, six people from one house in N E Scotland were taken to hospital and spent the night receiving oxygen.
Cause, as established by the local F&R, was a blocked gas fire flue, resulting in CO2 poisoning.
Worth checking?

Im not to sure what the purpose of your thread is but the following statement or words to that effect are stated in the maintenance/servicing instructions of new gas appliances
"To ensure the continued safe and efficient operation of the boiler it is recommended that it is checked and serviced as necessary at regular intervals. The frequency of servicing will depend upon the particular installation conditions and usage, but in general once per year should be adequate.
It is law that all servicing work is carried out by a competent person (Corgi registered)."
It also depends of who owns and operates the property/appliances as the responsibility may be the owner or the tenant.
The HSE website has two free publications that may give you further information: http://www.hse.gov.uk/pubns/gasindex.htm
Hope this helps
