Contractor working on our behalf going to work on a Client's premises

Dear All,
We currently have a mixture of staff and long-term contractors within our Company. One of our long-term contractors is going to work at a Client's premises to assist them with the installation of our components into their equipment and subsequent testing.
We are being asked for method statements and risk assessments in connection with this. I have ideas of the information that needs to go in but was interested to hear from fellow professionals if they had been through this and would be grateful for any information shared.

Presumably from the information in your posting you are acting as the Principal Contractor (PC). For the job you describe it would be reasonable to ask the sub-contractor to provide method statements and risk assessments specific to the work. As the PC it is advisable that one of your staff, a competent person, should check them and sign them off as suitable.
Regards
Ray
