I recently joined IOSH back in May after completing the PG Certificate course.
I was sent the MIOSH certificate and very satisfied (I remember saying i have finally achieved something worthwhile).
I have worked very hard over the last 5 years to achieve this standard completing many courses with my goal to be able to put MIOSH after my name
Is it true I have lost my MIOSH status because of the grade changes or am I informed wrongly to be demoted to Grad Iosh would for me be a total joke
Having MIOSH was the Carrot for me
Thank you
Jai

No but if you have not registered for your IPD/CPD do so now and back date it to July. You then become able to apply for Chartered status in 2007. If you leave it any later then you may find complications.

Fairy Nuff as they say. But hopefully we will soon be rid of the standardised 2x per year start dates for CPD.. The new 3 year cycle system runs from the month in which you register and thus spreads the administrative load to a degree. The online system will potentially improve matters. At least it will be better bedded in when you come to swop over to it in 2007.

JAI,
You will actually have been registered from 1st January 2005. Once you succesfully complete your 2 year CPD cycle at the end of 2006 and send in your records as requested then you will be transferred to Chartered Membership.
MIOSH will actually disappear at the end of 2007 as all those eligible transfer into the Chartered categories.
