Posted By Al Beevers Hopefully someone a bit more aufait with CDG can help. My boss has bought a 2000l bowser to carry diesel between sites to fuel generators. He's convinced that as it's below 3000l, it's an Intermediate Bulk carrier, and is exempt from CDG. I was under the impression this was an exeption from only part of CDG, but driver training, displaying orange plates and having a dangerous goods safety advisor etc. were still requirements. If anyone can clear this up I'd appreciate it. Al.

Posted By Guill Hi Al, A quick response for you> Visit HSE website = hse.gov.uk click on free publication, then click the A to Z of publications and under C you will find a 29 page free document on the Carriage of dangerous Goods by Road. Hope this helps. Guill
