Has anybody got a policy on Alcohol at work.
We do not have a problem and the nearest pub is 10 miles away but I would like some set guidelines on the subject for a safety policy.
I dont want to put a ban on alcohol due to we have a drink at work when somebody leaves and the xmas party needs to be taken into account.
If any of my Iosh friends can let me have a look at a policy please email me pdebney@vax.co.uk.
Thanks

Paul,
Have e-mailed you direct, this is something I have been trying to finalise for some time and the point with regard to party's or even attending fuctions with clients or suppliers pose a difficult problem as technically even though you are off company premises and often outside your noraml working hours and scenario technically you are still on the business of your employer and therefore bound by HSWA etc.
