being quite new to H&S I am trying to optain copys of all the main regulations along with the associated ACOP is there a site where this can be done quite easily?

Get what you need when you want it - arrange access to a provider of such services such as HSEDirect.
They provide a range of access & download services from "day Ticket" to full subscription.
Croners do a similar thing but it's only full subscription.
