All heard of late arrivals? No? You have to create a name related to the subject of the ball, so when the MC introduces the people into the room, it'll give you a name related to the topic.
e.g.
Mr & Mrs Rescent-sign and their daugher Flo
Mr & Mrs Lectical-wires and their daugher Lucy

Try!

And here come the “turn”…….
Today we have that popular music combo, The Beatles, and they’ll be doing two songs….first a sad tale of a woman with a foot injury, Penny Lame, followed by their plaintive PPE appeal………All you need is Gloves

Please welcome all the way from Ancient Rome, so very late arrivals indeed, Mr & Mrs Health and their son Octavius, best known to his friends as "Occy"

I must have ground down a few brain cells thinking up that one, before which I could only think of writing "I'm sorry I haven't a clue!" By the way, is Rule 13B disallowed or have I strayed into Mornington Crescent?

Please welcome, all the way from Ireland, Mr and Mrs Struction Safety, and their son Connor, usually known to his family and friends as "Con"

A pretty feeble offering I know but at least it gets this thread back on page 1. Anyway, sorry to deviate from the subject, what do you expect from a forum on a professional body website called "Chat Forum"? Surely this name attracts the wrong sort of people and should be changed forthwith!
