"Our client a manufacturing and development facility are currently looking to recruit a contract EHS officer to work on an interim project. Tasks and duties include the following:
Setting up inspection program and undertake safety/environmental inspections of site Undertake and/or review risk assessments for all facility (production, laboratories, warehouse, cleaners and engineering etc.) Performing COSHH assessments for all facility (production, laboratories, warehouse, cleaners and engineering etc.) Conduct accident/incident investigations to identify root cause and recommend corrective actions. Promote reporting of accidents/Incidents and near misses. Sampling of effluent and setting up spreadsheets to monitor trends Assist EHS Manger as necessary in the implementation of Group Standards e.g. confined space program.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced HSE Officer, with at least 1 years experience and preferably a NEBOSH certificate".
And i am sure they will find a suitable candidate for this position.
Any one want the position ??? Try SCANTEC ....Employers i hope you are watching. And thinking about any new legislation.Maybe the legislation should include recruitment agencies culpability.
