Im looking for alternatives to steel tresles(goal posts or metal mickies)I know they are not fully banned yet but Id rather use a safer alternative, any ideas and where I can get them (AND COSTS) its for external use with block work.

The old "easyfix" transoms are making a bit of a comeback.
They need tubular standards which can be sufficiently long to accomodate handrails.

Blok n Mesh have a new trestle system that adapts the existing bandstands and provides handrail & midrail with a ladder bracket. I've put it up, there are a few fiddly bits that might get lost, it is as cheap and cheerful as the ordinary bandstand and believe it or not you can lean on the handrail becuase each trestle has a short stabiliser leg
