Hi Any advice reguarding COSHH reviews. Iam undertaking (for thr first time)an audit of all substances relating to COSHH and have requested new MSDS from all relevant suppliers. To date most still refer to OEL & MELs none have applied the system utilizing work exposure limits WELs.
Am i expecting the transition to be to quick??
When do suppliers need to up date their MSDS data to incorporate WELs??
I an using COSHH essentials to compile any data and applying the good practice principle.any recomended publications/guides??

With regard to updating MSDSs, it depends on whether you think that the change in the system of OELs is 'significant new information relating to safety at work'. See CHIP Reg 5.
