Hi all,
Does anyone have any experience or information on Static Shocks causing burns?
I have heard of an electric shock incident that was investigated and found to be static. This person had a clearly visible entry and exit wound.
Comments/information would be much appreciated.
Kind regards
Thomas Elliott

I had a similar problem about 5 years ago where static shock was causing visible burns and actually put a posting up on this forum.
Solutions such as anti-static spray were found to have limited effect, but increasing the humidity of the workplace (office in this case) was successful.
