I am looking into doing the OHSAS 18001 Auditor/ Lead Auditor course but I am a little unsure which training provider to go with. I was wondering if anyone has recently completed the course and could offer any feedback on the course content, trainers etc.

Because of the cost of the course I want to make sure its worth while.

Thanks for any feedback offered.

I completed this course and thoroughly enjoyed it through a firm called Moody International of Derby in May 2004.

The course content is such that they are training their own in-house auditors alongside the course attendees, so it's very much in line with the practicalities of actual situations and confrontations.

Contact details are from my 2004 folder - 08707 -529002.

(There is a healthy 70% pass mark that needs to be attained in order to achieve the certification standard, so no joy ride for the course content to sink in.)

A few years back, IOSH offered this course in conjunction with BVQI - very worthwhile and certainly something I would recommend if it is still available from IOSH or BVQI directly.

I did mine in November with IOSH and the BSI.

Great course, good fun, excellent presentation, and good food (no, I'm not on commission - sadly)

No hesitation recommending it.

I did mine through IOSH and BSI June 2003 (tutor Stephen Fulwell) Never became a registered OHSAS 18001 auditor but have used information used on the course and have found it really useful - good course and useful experience of challenging difficult managers/directors - Stephen could certainly play the part
