Posted By Steve Olor I require assistance on best practices, alternatives on noise monitoring/ mapping, as I've been assigned a responsibility of determining how this be done for a new client of ours. Our client owns a small gas process/ liquification plant, and has consulted our firm to carry out this assignment. Thank you in anticipation. Steve Olor

Posted By garyh Without being clever you would need to be "Competent" to carry out the survey and produce the report yourself. I think that you would either have to get trained and purchase or hire measurement equipment before setting off on your task. You may then find that you haven't got a problem! Alternative would be to get a consultant in - and the initial meeting would be free - an experienced person could walk around and get a good feel for if you have a problem or not. You could then decide on how formal and involved your next step is.
