Posted By Saracen11 Contact the manufacturer/supplier of the equipment, they'll provide all the information needed in terms of when to and what to inspect, also speak to the people supervising the use of the items - they'll be able to identify the real issues to help you complete a RA. Consider things like age/height restrictions, wearing long sleeves - if there’s a slide, it’ll reduce the likelihood of friction burns. All users must wear socks at all times, no eating/drinking/smoking or wearing jewellery, no boisterous behaviour (other than what’s expected from the little ones), restrictions on length of time spent on apparatus and a good supply of drinks (to prevent dehydration), draw up and action plan with staff to deal with emergencies (ranging from emergency evacuations to a stranded child), have a rest area to allow the little blighters to cool down… First Aid arrangements and training… the list goes on… You could also speak to your LA Environmental Health Team; they enforce this type of activity. They should point you in the right direction. Hope this helps. Regards
