Posted By Ann Hacon I am trying to establish the content of any existing codes of conduct/guidance you may have in place, drawn up for public buildings providing services for young people, providing general advice and internet access. Many thanks

Posted By Cathy Ricketts Suggest you form a young peoples group and get them to help you write the code. Some of the behaviour will depend on the type of service you are delivering to the young people. But something along the lines of what you can expect from us and what we can expect from you is a good starting point. With regards to general codes of conduct again they work much better if the young people have some ownership of them: Topics for discussion Not endangering the safety of yourself or others violence or bullying Language and behaviour (respect) Weapons smoking alcohol, drugs, illegal substances
