Has anyone had much dealing with plasterers stilts and the legalities of them?

this has come up many times on various sites.
Compentency is diffulcult to evaluate in the first instance.
It is working at height so a risk assessment needs to be made.
We do not allow them although i believe in the right place they can be very cost effective and safe.

Can I suggest you type the word stilts in the "search forums" field. This one has been discussed quite a lot in the past. You may find some help there.

Hi,
I asked the HSE about this several months ago and their reply was, How do you prevent a fall from the stilts? Enough said I suppose!
