Posted By Ray mausolle I’m looking for some advise that is not clear with the manufactory. My company is evaluating a 4 wheel Hand Pallet Truck. It’s quite a powerful machine, and I am getting conflicting reports that the users of the Hand Pallet Truck needs a fork lift licence to use it. Any advice would be appreciated

Posted By Frank Hallett Ray - the only people who need licenses are those who drive on the public highway. The Operators will require specific training in the use of the equipment to a standard defined by you [or your employer]. To identifty that they are sufficiently competent, the standard will have to be based upon a defensible assessment schedule with a pre-determined pass-mark and administered in a transparent way.
