Posted By Descarte Im looking for a peice of equipment which confirms that people wearing antistatic clothing and shoes are actually correctly earthed and should not generate any static charges. I have seen them in the past and they consist on a metal bar or pad which you touch whilst stood on a metal plate. I guess that then a this connects a circuit if you are earthed in your correct footware. I just can't for the life of me remember what they are called and through many multiple google searches turn up anything remotely like I am after. Tried evrything from safety shop, to safety shoe manufacturers anti static sites, my heads spinning and it gettinglate. Anyone got one, or even know what I am on about??? Much appreciated, hopefully see you tomorrow. Night Des
