Posted By IanD I've used my 50 /50 and phone a friend, so he goes "ask the audience" Do any fellow professionals know of any sound data source for dust explosion data (long shot I know) or have any one of you had any process dust or by-product dust tested for explosivity, flammability, MIT tests etc - if so where and how much does this screening cost. Posted By Paul Leadbetter Ian I think that Sax's 'Dangerous Properties of Industrial Materials' contains LELs and UELs. The 84th edition of the CRC 'Handbook of Chemistry and Physics' (the Rubber Book) contains information on chemicals but not on more mundane substances. I don't know of an online source of the information except by looking up the MSDSs. Paul

Posted By gham I know that some universities may undertake testing for you. Try a speculative enquiry to Glasgow Caledonian University they have the equipment in their labs to do pneumatic conveying testing etc etc they may already have the data you are looking for or could point you in the right direction
