hi,
Does any one have any information on:
1)International Safety Management Code of Standard adopted by International Marine Organization.
2) MODU Code
3) SOLAS regulation.
Your assistance would be greatly appriciated.

IMO is the UN body that sets common global standards. MODU standards are for Mobil Offshore Drilling Units, SOLAS covers details of emergency response and life-saving appliances (Safety of Life at Sea), with a range of standards, depending on the duty of the vessel and IMO now require all operators to have a vessel Safety Management System, as well as hardware standards.

The Maritime and Coastguard Agency are responsible for getting the information out to the shipping world their website is also pretty good for information
