Posted By trini hi, Does any one have any information on: 1)International Safety Management Code of Standard adopted by International Marine Organization. 2) MODU Code 3) SOLAS regulation. Your assistance would be greatly appriciated.

Posted By Ian Waldram IMO is the UN body that sets common global standards. MODU standards are for Mobil Offshore Drilling Units, SOLAS covers details of emergency response and life-saving appliances (Safety of Life at Sea), with a range of standards, depending on the duty of the vessel and IMO now require all operators to have a vessel Safety Management System, as well as hardware standards.
