Posted By Neville Please could the learned people on this site advise me on the going rate for 'Moving and Handling Courses'. I recentley delivered three on the trot (in one day) at a company gathering to thirty delegates. These took the form of discussion, demonstration, powerpoint, short video and an exam. Due to their company constraints, I had to shoehorn them into an hour and a half for each delivery. I was approached to undertake this task by a friend who works for the company, as I am still awaiting the plumb H&S job to land in my lap. I would consider going it alone in business myself after this experience as I quite enjoy training folks. Suggestions on rates appreciated thanks. Offers on jobs also !!!!! I am in the North West and can deliver a variety of courses.

Posted By Ron Impey Hi Neville, I assume the sessions you provide are a basic introduction to the manual handling of light loads, and not the moving & handling of people.

Posted By Neville Ron, That is affirmative. These personnel have company cars and travel extensively. They do not lift people. They lift human plumbing equipment, (pumps etc). Regards
