Posted By Nicholas Rainsford I would be most grateful for advice on the location of fire extinguishers when the ambient temperature in the space is high. We recently had to send a stored pressure foam extinguisher ashore for pressure testing after we discovered it had developed a leak in the shell and lost all presure to push the extinguishant out of the extinguisher. Upon cheking the space the temperature was in the region of 40 degrees celsius. The advice on other extinguishers we have (CO2 cartridge type) is to locate in temperatures less than 60 degrees C; we cannot find any such advice on our stored pressure extinguishers. Pleased could anybody advise? Thanks Nick
