Posted By Glenn Looking to form forum with other IOSH members living in the Costa Del Sol. I have found no groups in the area that likeminded people can network together, over a pint and the odd game of golf. Spain certainly gives us a lot to discuss with regards H&S, but the general idea is to be totally informal. Construction based myself, but all replies will be addressed. Glenn Whates

Posted By Raymond Rapp Glenn I'm up for the golf! Although I am too sure you will get too many H&S advisors living (and practising) in the Costa Del Sol. Perhas you need to broaden your scope. IOSH might be prepared to contact those living abroad on your behalf, which would save you a lot of time and trouble. Personally, I still live in Blighty but have hopes of purchasing a modest dwelling in Spain or Portugal some time in the future, ideally, near to a golf course. I have played golf in Spain on many occasions and apart from the game itself, it is also good for networking and meeting new friends. Good luck with your venture. Regards Ray

Posted By Jim Walker Ray, Have you seen the job adverts in March TSP? Ideal job there for a golfist who wants a bit of warm weather. Me, I have the finest trout lochs in the UK on my doorstep - heaven!! (well almost)

Posted By Raymond Rapp Jim Just checked it out. Very interesting but unfortunately they are asking for more experience than I can offer. Have to stay with the smog and railways for the time being. Regards Ray

Posted By Malcolm Tullett Glen Where are you, on the strip? I have a place at Reserva del Higueron, just outside Fuengirola and there's a few good courses around there. Have also 'tried' to practice in Spain but that's another story, better left for the 19th.

Posted By Glenn Hi Malcolm In Fuengirola, near port. Back to England for 4 days tomorrow, but will meet up when back for drink and arrange some golf. Lots of emails from people wanting to be here but little from people already here, they just need to make the move & the rest will happen. Glenn

Posted By Malcolm Tullett Well that's two sorted, although I'm in the UK at the moment, as well. I'm in Spain once a month, for about a week at a time, although my wife lives there full-time. So, any other ex-pats, or even Spanish safety practitioners, interested in joining us?
