Posted By Salus How about, this is the task, this was the hazard / risk encountered, we could not control the risk any other way,the time and employee restrictions in using the PPE, it was compatible to the wearer, we asked the employees about their views, got them to try a sample of PPE, the PPE reduced the hazard /risk to an acceptable level,this is why we chose the PPE. Remember PPE should be used as a last resort to the problem
