Posted By Jerry Lucey Melanie, I have found in the past that a quite word in the ear of the person whose signature is on your Safety Policy (Safety Statement in Ireland) is effective especially when you make them aware that one of their manager's are putting them at risk. There are some good responses to this thread, particularly the ones which point that this inspection can be carried out more effectively on a dry day with a hose pipe. Not alone have they put their MD at risk but they have jeopradised him/ her while acting incorrectly/ ineffectively.
