For any of you fire safety consultants out there. What would be the likely maximum temperature reached in an 'average' office fire?
Vague answers and dubious estimates welcome, though if anyone can point me in the direction of some hard fact, even better.

These can vary greatly depending on what is involved. From 600 to 1300 degrees c. It can be cooking at the lower temp fully enclosed to near what feels like a blast furnace with plenty of draft. It will certainly melt your choc ice. Some fire-fighters often get crispy ears.
