Hi Folks,

I've just been given the go-ahedad to buy some DVDs for training. They will mainly be to accompany IOSH MS & Healthcare R&S Management. We are a Charity, so I don't want to spend too much, but I have been given several hundred pounds. So, do we have any particular (good value) favourites (themes on MHOR, Fire, Office Safety, Infection Control, Housekeeping)?

HSE are cheap - £25 for a really good one on asbestos and asbestos management plans and a free one now on slips & trips in construction

The FPA have a good range of videos and DVDs at reasonable prices and you can preview them in part on their site:

Worth a look and you will find the viewing worthwhile.

Enjoy!

I like the lending libraru ideas (both the commercial and the public ones) very much; everything else seems very expensive,

It depends on where you are based, but both the Area Safety Groups I am a member of have a library of video's dvd's for borrowing, for a modest fee it may be worth spending your money that way instead.

If you let me know where your based I can give you some contacts of local groups

Hope this helps
