Posted By MDT I've had a recent complaint from an employee regarding static shock in the workplace. Having interviewed this person it seems his situation is extreme. He is constantly getting jolts, some which are quite severe. His situation is also isolated as other people in his workarea are not experiencing any problem at all. Can anyone advise me of what specifics I should be looking at to try and resolve this persons issue? I've already suggested he use a metal coin, key or wear a thimble on his index finger to discharge himself on contacting certain objects. I'm anxious to get to the source of the problem and would be grateful if anyone could suggest where this is coming from...is it his work habits, apparel/shoes he wears, are there any definite common root causes I should be aware of or questions I should be asking him? Regards MDT
