Hello all -
If 'Fire Safety An Employer's Guide' does not provide the answer to a fire related question which guide/document do Forum members turn to next for further information?
Regards
Jennifer

That would depend upon what the question was?

Contact your local fire brigade. I find them very helpful, and their advice is free.

For us the answer would have to include the NHS Firecode series, as we operate healthcare & care premises. for more general questions there's always Approved Document Part B of the Building Regulations, available in full from http://www.odpm.gov.uk/index.asp?id=1130478 and Part M would have some bearing on this as it covers access topics,

Dave, that's true in a literal sense, but even in our buildings (one of which dates back to the 12th Century!) Building Regs are useful in giving us a standard to deviate from!
