Hi all
Does anyone have an example of a Risk Assessment that can be used specifically for patient handling?
I have looked into the HSE Mac tool, but it's not really suitable.
Any ideas appreciated!!
Regards
Cara

The 18 chapters in 'The Guide to The Handling of People' (5th edition, 2005), edited by Jacqui Smith and published by BackCare, consider the issues of patient handling from just about every practical angle you're likely to need.

Suggest that you have a look at the following document which may well be very useful as I'm told by some people who are more expert in the subject that I am that it is the best document of it's kind they've seen.

Have fun,
Andy
