Posted By Lorna Barrett Good morning all and happy Friday,, I am new to both IOSH and these forums, I am from Ireland, based in Dublin and have recently left my job as a Risk Management Consultant in a Brokerage and set up a Health and Safety Consultantcy services business. I am still in the very early stages of this business and I am currently drafting my Consultants Contract, to be issued to clients when we are first engaged to provide our services. While I am aware of the basic clauses which need to be inserted into such contracts, ie, fees and payments, termination, disputes etc., I was wondering if any of you would have advice for me or could help me a little? Many thanks in advance, Lorna

Posted By John McFeely Lorna, Always ensure that you have the 'Scope of work' included and anything extra or any changes made after the contract is signed by you both should be signed for seperately. Hope this helps. Jackie McFeely
