Posted By fore! We are looking to purchase a new video for our six-monthly fire training sessions. Does anybody have any recommendations? Our current video focuses on hotel fire safety and is split into Prevention, Evacuation and Extinguisher sections. I would however consider a non industry specific video if it cuts the mustard. Thankyou all!

Posted By Nigel Hammond Hi I did an earlier post about a programme on TV recently - called how safe is your home. This programme involved recreating a house fire in a real house that was scheduled for demolition - it was a very good demonstration of how quickly a fire spreads and the importance of keeping doors closed. The film also included a simulation of a hurricane, and a gas explosion of a real house! You can now buy it from Firefly Film and TV productions LTD for £20 (Tel Jenny Crockett - 020 7033 2308). I've received my copy and am looking forward to showing it on my courses - because it is documentary/reality TV style rather than a borring H&S video style.
