I have been told Tolleys is the book to buy to help me.
Please can anyone tell me which is the most up to date version and where is the best place to buy it from?
Also, are there any other good books I should think about buying?
Ta Helen

It depends entirely what you expect from the publication and what your information needs are Helen.
There are a range of resources out there that fulfil different needs and the Tolleys Handbook [which also comes as a regularly updated resource] is one of them.

Thanks Frank.
At the moment I have all the information on Regulations and specific 'facts' (if that's the right word) that I need and we subscribe to Croner but I'm after more on the management side of health and safety.
We are currently implementing OHSAS 18001 and I'm doing the NVQ Level 4. I am looking for help with these and to expand my own knowledge further.

All the IOSH books are pretty useful. I particularly recommend Risk Management for some in-depth ideas, Protect Your People for practical tools to help line managers without immedaite access to an advisor and Questioning Performance to get executives thinking, if they aren't switched on yet.
