Posted By KEVIN O'KANE Has anyone had any experience of writing risk assessments for the following situation: High profile spokespersons who are likely to be interviewed in the media on a sensitive subject and therefore this exposure could put them under risk from outside organisations who might not necessarily agree with their views? Many thanks in anticipation

Posted By Kieran J Duignan Kevin The pharmaceutical and food industry sectors in Britain and Ireland have been systematically assessment risks to senior executives and managing them in collaboration with the police for some decades. The company secretary of a firm or the director of trade associations in these sectors may be willing to provide a confidential briefing.

Posted By Kal Safadi There can be a pro forma approach to VIP media interviews/press conferencing. The conditions rely on an PEST evaluation being carried out, together with who the VIP is or who does the VIP represent; where is the conference to take place indoor/ outdoor; the logistical pre and post transportation; is there a substatial media run-in to the interview/ conference; is it an open invite/ or invite only to the media; if any / how many threats have been made; is there a local authority/law enforcement interest in the VIP/ conference.
