I have been tasked to produce Risk Assessments, Method Statements, Safe Systems of Work and Work Instructions for a variety of operations carried out by our company, examples of which are water jetting, rotary drilling (continuous flight augering and down hole hammer), shallow and deep mechanical excavation and CPT survey operations. I am happy with the RAMS procedure and the work instructions but am a little confused by the safe systems of work. Has anyone got a document or any information that would give me a steer on what I require to address in the SSoW. Many Thanks HTD
