A company does refurbishment work for a domestic client and subcontracts some of the work out. The project may run for more than 30 days or 500 person hours.
Does it fall under CDM?
Has anyone got a copy of the where CDM applies flowchart?

The Flowchart is not by itself clear enough. Paras 94 - 96 of the ACoP (HSG224) are also required reading.
In the circumstances you describe, the Contractor is required to notify HSE, but there is no requirement for appointment of Planning Supervisor or Principal Contractor, nor is there a requirement for H&S Plans or Files.
Designer duties (Reg 13) always applicable.
"Other Health & Safety Legislation may be applicable" (-;

Thanks for replying Ron.
I came to the same conclusion based on the paragraphs mentioned (I've got the text but not the pictures).
I was an expert to confirm my thoughts.

Check HSG224, Page 5 Application, Interpretation and Notification (Reg 2,3)Figure one and this will clearly guide you from there. Good luck. (Clearly was a bold statement!!!)
