If you are looking at handing over the project, you do not need to consider the construction issues, what you should be looking at are the residual hazards associated with the use/operation, maintenance and eventual demolition of the facility. Surely the type of information you need at this stage of the project is more centred around the H&S File, what input has the planning supervisor had?

As far as i'm aware the Clients suddenyly asked for a copy of the builders risk assessments and method statement. Thats where i come in i'm aware of many areas that need to be covered within the risk assessment but i don't want to miss a key point.

I would recommend that you get your colleague up to speed on the requirements of CDM, especially with regards to the H&S File, providing RA's and MS's at this stage of the project is pointless. I suspect that the parties involved do not fully understand their roles, hence the confusion as to what is required.
Is there a Planning Supervisor involved and has he ensure that the H&S File is beo=ing prepared?

I do not know if you will read this before your meeting. If the RAs and MSs were not requested in the original tender submission it really is a little late for the client, via possibly his PS, to start making requests now. Check out what the contract documents are saying now. In any case you will have the RAs and MSs available for the initial 14 days of site set up and ground works.
The other possibility is loved by QSs and is essentially to start the payment clock ticking but do no further work as the contract has been delayed by the late actions of others.

What a confusing forum, If I read it correctly it looks as though there has not been a Planning Supervisor (PS) appointed the way every body is running about headless looking for bricklaying RAs.
A PS would have ensured there where designers RAs and any other H&S information available, issued via the Pretender H&S plan with the tender documentation to the tendering Principal Contractors (PC).
The successful PC would have to issue a Construction Phase H&S Plan that normally includes RAs & MSs for the work to be undertaken before starting the construction stage.
At the conclusion of the contract the PC/PS generally work as a team to produce the H&S File that is handed to the client. There are other duties relating to the CDM regs that I have not mentioned this response therefore I would suggest you check out the HSEs HSG 224 Managing H&S in Construction and Construction Information Sheets 39 to 44
