Posted By dave burrage Does anybody have information on risk assessment for an activity day involving 10-15 year old kids on a range of activities including high rope work, rafting, wall climbing etc etc. I am really not looking for the brain dump approach listing as many hazards as we can possibly think of, what i am looking for is a link to a template or guidance document. Thanks.

Posted By Gerry Newton Dave I did some work a couple of months ago for CYFA Pathfinder Ventures and updated all their guidance and risk assessments. The charity organises and runs hundreds of summer camps for children 10 to 16. It is a christian organisation so has a church based background but they are very experienced in the arena having been in existance for over 30 years. Many of the documents are available on their website but if I remember I needed some access codes etc. Try google for 'CYFA Pathfinder Camps' and have a look. If you can't find them e-mail me and I will look for them when I am back in my office. I am working in London at the moment and not back until next week.
