Good afterrnoon all,
Can anybody assist with guidance on a risk assessment for face painting please?
I have got as far as identifying hypoallergenic paints and awareness of children with existing allergies. Can you think of anything else?
Kind regards,
Malcolm

Get them to wear the same goggles they would wear for conkers (sorry, couldn't resist, it's been a bad day).
NB TO ANY NEWSPAPER REPORTERS READING THIS IS A JOKE

I guess face paints would come under the Toy Safety Regulations and your local Trading Standards Department may have more information on that.
Other areas of risk (you've identified the 'what') are 'who' (who will be doing the painting) 'where'(are there risks associated with the location, perhaps ensuring sufficient segregated "jostle room" for the activity; etc.
